JasRangi, is a magazine from the Mewati Gharana to the world of music. All students of music all over the world are welcome to participate. There is association with music on every page. There are several components of this magazine. It is primarily a music magazine "by and for all students of music" . Anybody is welcome to ask questions related to music, which are answered by an expert panel, and any student of music may send a music related article.
Our topics have appropriate music related titles.The editorial is referred to as 'mukhda', interview of an artiste as 'aalap', interview of an artiste from the eyes of a youngster as pakad, opinion of several experts on a given topic as vistaar, Q&A as 'dhwani pratidhwani', history as 'udgam', Guruji's article as 'purvang', kids corner as 'alankaar', students' corner as 'ninaad', dialog between the editor and the subscribers as vaad-samvaad, upcoming events as 'anaghaat', reviews of past events as 'prabhaav', small articles as behelaav, research in music as soojh, the list of students who worked on a given issue as vrindagaan, and contents as 'adhaar'. There is an entire page devoted to musical terminology and proper pronunciation called 'shuddha vani'.
